Goddess Garden ~ Pure Enlightened Skincare
Born at the base of majestic Rocky Mountains, Goddess Garden was founded in 2004 by Nova Covington, a fourth generation Herbalist. As a new mother, Nova was inspired to create organic skincare products for her daughter Paige, who was allergic to sulfates, the synthetic soap in traditional bath products. When Paige was a baby, Nova created her first all-natural skincare product. Soon friends were clamoring for more.

Within a year, Goddess Garden launched other natural products including a sunscreen made with 70% Organic ingredients and a pure mineral, zinc oxide, as the active sunblock -- the highest organic content of any sunscreen on the market. "My daughter Paige was my first customer. Now I am pleased to have created a line of organic sunscreen products that keep children and adults protected from the sun," says Nova.
Working with botanicals comes naturally to Nova. Growing up in the Canadian and Oregon wilderness, herbalism was handed down through four generations of women in her family. Her great grandmother, Marie Walters, learned the medicinal use of native plants from the American Indian women. The tradition of herbalism continues as Nova creates amazing blends of essential oils.

Nova credits the women in her family for her love of business. She has a Master's degree in International & Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver, and joined Hewlett-Packard in her early 20's. After a decade in the corporate world, Nova now directs operations as President of Goddess Garden, a woman-owned business dedicated to producing pure, safe and effective organic skincare products.
Goddess Garden Pledge
As a fourth generation Herbalist, I honor the Earth and the healing power of plants. I choose certified organic, fair trade and sustainably-sourced ingredients and scent our products with 100% pure essential oils. Our Fair Trade Shea Butter is harvested at a women's co-op in Togo, Africa. We use recyclable packaging, and our company's carbon footprint is offset by wind energy. We donate a percentage of profits to support organic farmers and Earth-friendly organizations.
