Witch Hazel Extract (Hamamelis Virginiana)

A natural antimicrobial and antioxidant, it is also an astringent with a high level of tannins, which can help tighten skin proteins to promote healing. Witch hazel extract aids in constricting vessels, which can ease the look of tired eyes. It can soothe dry skin and itching, spot treat acne and serve as a make-up remover. It is steam distilled from the leaves and bark of the North American witch-hazel shrub. Witch hazel is often used to calm inflammation of the skin and soothe wounds and insect bites. Ours is organic.
